I have turned the story of my play, Pulani, into a story poem. When I laid it out on a dummy, I saw it was going to be 48 pages, which is longer that a typical 24 or 32 page picture book. I am on page 36, so I am almost done. I do have a deadline, since I will be going to Guam in a month to work on the production of Pulani there. (another blog entry). I want to do readings to promote the play and the book. So I gave myself a daily goal of 2 pages a day when March began. I have been able to keep that schedule, but I cannot do much more than that. I could, but then my life gets out of balance.
I have to get in my tango lessons, my walks, by Voice and American Idol, my Facebook, my reading. You know. Important things.
