Today was a much more balanced day. It actually balanced out the weekend, because all 3 workshops were devoid of the "business" of writing, and more about writing techniques. Also, it was only a half day, so I had time to play and relax a little.
Summary of Story Expo. I am glad I came. It made me really think about my projects and what I want to do with them. But I know I am not in the world of striving to "make it" in this business as so many of the other participants were. I do want to write and I do want an audience, but I am going to investigate other venues to get my work out there other than the "business," as was generally presented here. I don't want to write for the masses, and I do believe that it is possible to reach and be appreciated by niche audiences. I'm going to explore that.
