“ Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world.” - Gustav Flaubert
There's a video about the airport in Singapore that was circulating on Facebook. I even got it on my feed through my goddaughter in Guam! And I have to say, it's all true. There was more that we didn't experience, but two things stand out - kinetic sculpture and butterfly garden. Yay!
The kinetic sculpture was amazing. Here's a youtube of it.
The butterfly garden was such a treat! It was a relatively small garden, but with enough variety for lots of photos. There was even a koi pond.
There were other attractions here that we didn't have time for. Seems silly - that you would want to get there at least 4 hours early to experience the airport, but yes.
I have traveled quite a bit, and am using this page to record some memories. Travel is a wonderful education, expanding your view of the world, of other cultures, of the beauty of diversity.
