Does travel make you more creative? More compassionate?Yes, if you travel with those intentions.
We got back to the City in the afternoon of the Dia de Muertos. Jessica had arranged a rooftop dinner for us and face painters. How could you NOT get this done? It was so much fun, I wish I could have worn it for longer!
It was a celebratory atmosphere. Didn't take many pictures of the gravesites. Just couldn't get a good image. I love how they keep their loved ones alive in their memories.
The neighborhoods decorate their areas for the holiday. We were told that this barrio where we were staying won an award for best-decorations.
And then there was Centro! Which as LOCO!
I have traveled quite a bit, and am using this page to record some memories. Travel is a wonderful education, expanding your view of the world, of other cultures, of the beauty of diversity.
