I guess you know I love butterflies. That's not so unusual. I think it's a thing that a lot of people can relate to, the beauty that comes from its unlikely beginning stages, the lowly "worm". But, for some reason, I get all giddy. So, this was definitely a highlight. Such an enjoyable place. I will never tire of butterflies.
There was a pavilion, Sherry took these of me looking down at the different parts of the park. It's like a rainforest garden with a netting over it. I am not happy with the pictures I took, but I savor the memories of being surrounded by butterflies. We saw this scarlet ibis from afar and it kept coming closer and closer. So then, it was right beside us! This was a huge park, and we had done so much walking getting to each park, that we were pretty tired here at the bird park, so we didn't even do the entire park.
